WhatShouldMyBotDo MCP connector
Updated · by Rosh Perera
A free, read-only connector that gives your AI tool the same planner and use-case library as this site. Ask your bot “what should my first AI agent do?” and it answers from the free planner, then pulls the copy-paste routine. No account, no API key and nothing to pay.
Server URL
https://whatshouldmybotdo.com/api/mcpRemote MCP over Streamable HTTP. No sign-in.

Tools
All three tools are read-only. They can't send, post or change anything.
plan_first_agent: Recommend the first AI agent (bot) a small business should set up, plus the next 3 jobs to add, from the same 5 questions and the same ranking as the free planner at whatshouldmybotdo.com. Read-only, no account, nothing is saved. Ask the user the 5 questions first; do not guess their answers. Returns titles, why it fits, estimated hours saved a week (estimates, not guarantees), schedule, and links to each guide and the full plan on the site. Input: The planner's 5 answers: business type, what eats your week (1–2), apps, AI tool, first goal.search_use_cases: Search the WhatShouldMyBotDo library of AI agent use cases for small businesses by plain words. Read-only. Returns up to 8 matches with slug, title, one-line summary, schedule and a link to the guide. Use a slug from here with get_template. Input: query (2–100 characters).get_template: Get the copy-paste routine (instructions) for one WhatShouldMyBotDo use case, written for Grok Bot, ChatGPT, Claude or n8n. Read-only. Every routine is drafts-first: the user reviews before anything is sent or posted. Input: slug, plus ai_tool (grok, chatgpt, claude or n8n; default grok).
Data and limits
- We don't store or log what your AI tool sends. We only count how many times each tool is called.
- To slow down abuse, each server keeps a hashed (scrambled) version of the caller's IP address in memory for about a minute. It is never written to disk.
- Fair use: up to 30 requests a minute per caller on each server, and requests up to 8 KB. Too many requests get a short “try again” reply.
- Hours saved are estimates from our library, not guarantees. Every routine is drafts-first: you review before anything is sent.
- Full details: privacy. Your AI tool's maker (for example xAI, Cursor or Anthropic) has its own privacy policy.
Terms
The connector is free to use, provided as-is, and may change. Please don't use it to scrape or overload the site. Questions or problems? Message Rosh on X.
