Grok Bot pricing for small business: plans, usage and what xAI doesn't publish
Updated · by Rosh Perera
Grok Bot isn't sold on its own. It comes with some of xAI's paid plans. This page sticks to xAI's own pages, checked 20 Oct 2026: the Grok Bot page, the pricing page, xAI's X Subscription docs, the X Subscription announcement from 12 Oct 2026, Cursor's Grok Bot help and the Grok Bot changelog. Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Where xAI doesn't publish a number, we say so instead of guessing. To see how far a plan might go for your routines, list them in our free Grok Bot usage planner, then compare the total with your plan's allowance. What to hand to an agent first
Which plans include Grok Bot
Premium at $30 a month, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 include Grok Bot (x.ai). On The X Subscription, Plus and Free don't include it. On older Cursor plans, every paid individual plan and Cursor Teams include it, and you can also link an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy or X Premium+ account, or sign in with a seat on a self-serve Grok Business plan (Grok Bot help: Plans and billing). xAI's FAQ says self-serve Cursor Teams Standard and Premium seats include Grok Bot, and that Enterprise access is rolling out, so Enterprise teams should ask their Cursor account team (xAI's FAQ). On The X Subscription, team seats are Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 a seat a month (xAI's X Subscription pricing docs).
What each plan includes
Each plan includes weekly Grok Bot usage. xAI's pricing docs put included usage at 4x the Plus plan for Premium, 15x for Super and 50x for Ultra (xAI's X Subscription pricing docs, x.ai/pricing). xAI's pages differ on this; check x.ai/pricing for current usage figures. None of these pages says how many routines, messages or hours that adds up to. Third-party models in Cursor, such as Claude or GPT, sit outside that included usage. xAI's pricing docs say: "Third-party models in Cursor aren't part of the included usage, so they use these credits from the first use." Those credits are top-ups, the prepaid credit you buy in advance (xAI's X Subscription pricing docs, cursor.com/pricing).
How usage works
Every plan has one pool of usage shared across Grok and Cursor. Inside Grok, that pool covers Chat, Imagine, Voice and Bot, and it refreshes weekly. If you run out, you can keep going with top-ups or wait for the refresh (x.ai/pricing). On the Grok Bot page, usage beyond what's included is billed on token cost (x.ai). Settings > Usage & Billing shows your weekly usage and when it resets (Grok Bot changelog).
What xAI doesn't publish
We found no fixed number of routines, messages or hours per plan. We also found no price per routine run in plain money and no prices in pounds, rupees or Australian dollars on these pages. xAI's pricing docs do list yearly prices: Premium $300, Super $1,000 and Ultra $2,000 a year (xAI's X Subscription pricing docs). xAI's pricing page says prices don't include taxes or fees such as VAT (x.ai/pricing). Your checkout shows the final price, so check it there.
Which plan fits a small business
xAI recommends Premium for new AI users, Super for daily agent users and Ultra for power users. It recommends Teams for professionals working with others, and Enterprise for larger organizations that need invoicing, pooled usage or advanced security (x.ai/pricing). Our view: start on Premium with one or two Bots, each with one job. Watch your weekly usage for two weeks before you upgrade. Our Grok Bot setup guide covers your first Bot, and our usage limits guide shows how to make a week go further.
Buy it from xAI only
xAI says subscriptions are sold only directly through X Subscription Corp, with no authorised resellers (x.ai/pricing). If you already pay for SuperGrok, Cursor or X Premium, you can keep your plan or switch to The X Subscription (xAI news, 12 Oct 2026).

Setup steps
- Write down the routines you want and how often each one runs.
- Put them into our free Grok Bot usage planner to see your total runs per week.
- Start on Premium unless you already know your Bots will run all day.
- Set a monthly additional usage limit at grok.com/dashboard/billing, under Additional usage credits. On-demand applies to legacy Cursor plans only, so on one of those, set the On-demand monthly limit in Settings > Usage & Billing instead.
- After two weeks, check your weekly usage and reset date. Merge or cut routines before you upgrade.
Keep these human
- Extra usage is a real bill. On a legacy Cursor plan, set the monthly on-demand limit to None or Fixed in Usage & Billing before you need it (Grok Bot changelog). On The X Subscription, Auto Top-up only runs if you turn it on, and you can set a monthly additional usage limit at grok.com/dashboard (xAI's Extra usage docs).
- Making images and videos, and using Grok models in Cursor, draw from the same pool as your Bots (x.ai/pricing, xAI's X Subscription pricing docs). Heavy use there leaves less for your routines.
- Cursor's plans page says the Grok Bot free trial is a usage credit with a 7-day window, and used trial credit isn't topped up (Grok Bot help: Plans and billing). Don't plan around one.
- Prices change and are shown before tax. This is a 20 Oct 2026 snapshot, so check xAI's pricing page before you pay.
- We haven't measured how much work a plan covers for a business, so any time or money saved is an estimate.

FAQ
How much does Grok Bot cost per month?
On 20 Oct 2026, x.ai lists Premium at $30 a month, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200, each with weekly Grok Bot usage included (x.ai). On The X Subscription, team seats cost the same per seat: $30, $100 or $200 a month (xAI's X Subscription pricing docs). For Enterprise, xAI says to contact sales (x.ai). Prices are before tax (x.ai/pricing).
Is there a free Grok Bot plan?
No. Cursor's plans page says Plus and Free on The X Subscription don't include Grok Bot (Grok Bot help: Plans and billing). Cursor's plans page describes a free trial that's a usage credit with a 7-day window (Grok Bot help: Plans and billing).
What happens when I run out of Grok Bot usage?
Grok Bot shows a usage limit notice (Grok Bot changelog). You can keep going with top-ups or wait for your weekly refresh, and higher tiers include larger pools (x.ai/pricing). To use less, merge routines that overlap. Our usage limits guide shows how.
How much is Grok Bot in the UK, India or Australia?
xAI's pages list prices in US dollars before tax. We found no local prices for the UK, India or Australia on them, checked 20 Oct 2026. Your checkout shows the final price, including any tax such as VAT.
Is Grok Bot worth it for a small business?
It depends on whether one job you hate doing gets done well every week. Try one Bot with one drafts-only job for two weeks before you upgrade. Our free Starter Kit has four copy-paste agent prompts. The One-Person AI Business Pack ($29 one-time, plus local tax where it applies) adds a guardrail block with escalation rules and a 7-day install plan, and there's a done-for-you setup of one workflow ($149 one-time, plus local tax where it applies).
