Is there a Grok Bot family plan?

No. We found no family plan on x.ai/pricing or in xAI's X Subscription docs (checked 21 Oct 2026), and xAI says "An individual plan is for one person and doesn't support adding members." To give family members or staff their own Grok Bot, each person needs their own Premium or higher plan, or you add them as seats on a team plan, where "Each seat has the same usage as the corresponding individual plan". Checked 21 Oct 2026 against docs.x.ai and x.ai/pricing. We're an independent site, not part of xAI.
How can a family or small team share Grok Bot?
People keep asking
User reports: one owner wrote "GrokBot really needs a family plan" (family plan report), and another asked "Why does Grok Bot have no family plan?" (no family plan report). Someone else, sharing one account, wrote "using shared account. So limit reaching very quickly" (shared account report).
Option 1: a plan for each person
Grok Bot is included on Premium, Super and Ultra, and Plus doesn't include it (xAI's Pricing docs). xAI's list prices are Premium $30 a month, Super $100 and Ultra $200, and "List prices do not include sales tax." Each person keeps their own Bots, connected apps and weekly usage.
Option 2: a team plan with a seat each
xAI says "A team plan can have one person or many." and "Team plans are available on Premium at $30 per seat, Super at $100 per seat, and Ultra at $200 per seat." "Plus isn't available for teams." (xAI's Pricing docs). You invite people from Members at grok.com/dashboard and pick each person's seat (xAI's Team plans docs). On self-serve team plans, "Seats do not share weekly pools." and "The team shares a prepaid balance for supported Additional Usage." (xAI's Usage limits docs). So you get one bill and separate usage. Why not share one login?
Usage: one login means one weekly pool for everyone, and Cursor's help says "macOS and iOS share a single usage bucket tied to your signed-in Cursor account." Privacy: Cursor's help says "A connected app is available to every bot on that Grok Bot account." So everyone's Bots could use your Gmail and calendar. Our advice: don't share your login. Give each person a plan or a seat.
Personal plan and a team seat
