And: "Review the confirmation screen carefully. It shows the tier, price, effective date, and any refund or credit for your account." If the price shown is the full price, your promo ends with the upgrade.

On Android: "The higher tier starts as soon as Google Play confirms the new purchase." Read the store's confirmation screen the same way before you confirm.
