What not to hand an AI agent yet

• Sending, posting or booking on its own. xAI's own docs say to keep sending, publishing, purchasing and deletion behind approval and to start with read-only tasks and draft outputs. Keep every message, post and booking as a draft you approve until you trust the wording. In Grok Bot you can add an Ask first rule in Settings → General → Auto-review, and an approval a routine raises expires after about 10 minutes without the action running (xAI's Approvals docs).
• Spending money. Payments, refunds, discounts and anything behind a card stay with you. An agent can draft the refund reply; you decide and pay.
• Deleting things. Deleting emails, files, Bots or routines. xAI's docs say deleting a routine is immediate and has no undo, so hide or pause instead while you're unsure.
• Calls that need judgment. Final prices, contracts, complaints, safety advice and legal or medical answers. A bot can collect the details and draft a reply, but you make the call.
