Grok Bot connectors list: the apps you can connect (Oct 2026)

Updated · by Rosh Perera

Grok Bot connects to everyday business apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Google Drive, OneDrive and Slack, among others named on xAI's own pages. The full current list lives in the app under Connect apps, so check there for new ones. So this page lists the apps xAI names on its own pages, checked 18 Oct 2026, grouped by the job they do for a small business. Where we have a step-by-step guide, we link it. New apps arrive often, so check Connect apps for the latest. We're an independent site, not part of xAI.

What to hand to an agent first

  • Email and calendar

Gmail and Google Calendar (Grok Bot 101), and Outlook (Grok Bot changelog). Your Bot can write an email as a draft for you to Send or Discard, in Gmail or Outlook (Grok Bot changelog). You can connect more than one account per service, such as work and personal email (Grok Bot 101). Step by step: our Gmail guide and Google Calendar guide.

  • Files and documents

Google Drive (Grok Bot 101) and OneDrive. Bots can save files to either one (Grok Bot changelog). Bots can also hand over slide decks as Google Slides. Notion, Figma and Canva come with an app that can show up inside the chat (Grok Bot changelog). Step by step: our Google Drive guide.

  • Team chat

Slack (Grok Bot 101). Your Bot can write a Slack message as a draft for you to Send or Discard (Grok Bot changelog). On team plans, Team Bots can live in your Slack. A Microsoft Teams message can start a routine (Grok Bot changelog). Step by step: our Slack guide.

  • Money and accounts

QuickBooks Online is available to connect (Grok Bot changelog, 11 Oct 2026). The changelog also mentions Xero, and bank or brokerage connectors, where the Bot asks before sharing what they return anywhere else. Bots can pay with X Money or Stripe Link, and a card asks you to Allow or Deny each purchase (Grok Bot changelog). Read our QuickBooks guide before you connect your books.

  • Passwords, X and everything else

On a Mac, 1Password lets your Bot sign in with your saved logins, and it asks you first unless you turn on Auto fill (Grok Bot changelog). Bots can search X and read posts without you connecting an X account. For technical users there are code tools such as GitHub, and Grok Bot can use the same add-ons as Cursor (Grok Bot 101). If an app has no connector, a Bot can sign in to the website in its own browser, like you would (x.ai).

Example: Grok Bot setup

Grok Bot routine: Inbox triage with drafted replies
Schedule: Twice daily 9:00 and 15:00

Twice a day, go through new emails. Label each as Reply, FYI or Ignore. For Reply, write a draft in my voice (short, friendly, direct) and save it as a draft, never send. Send me a list of drafts to approve and any FYIs worth knowing.

Rules: draft first, never send or post anything external without my approval. Keep summaries short.

Setup steps

  1. In Grok Bot, open Connect apps in the sidebar. Search for the app you need.
  2. Or open a chat with your Bot and type: connect my Gmail (or the app you want). Click Authorize and finish in your browser (Grok Bot for Support).
  3. Read what the app's own screen says the Bot will be able to do before you agree.
  4. Open Settings → General → Auto-review and paste your drafts-only rule for that app.
  5. Run one small job with drafts for a week before you connect the next app.

Keep these human

  • Drafts-only works for every connector: the Bot may read and write drafts, and it never sends, posts, pays, deletes or shares without your OK. Write that rule in plain words in Settings → General → Auto-review (xAI's Approvals docs).
  • Your Bots share one computer, including browser logins, so an app one Bot is signed in to can be reached by your other Bots (x.ai). Connect only what each job needs.
  • Connect money apps last, and keep bank and card logins out of your first setup.
  • Email and Slack draft cards have a Disable drafts for this Bot button that lets the Bot send straight away (Grok Bot changelog). Leave drafts on.
  • This list is a snapshot from 18 Oct 2026. Connect apps inside Grok Bot is always the current list.

FAQ

Is there an official Grok Bot connectors list?

Inside the app, yes. Connect apps lists what you can add, most-installed first, with search (Grok Bot changelog). We couldn't find the full list on a public xAI web page on 18 Oct 2026, so this page lists the apps xAI names in its guides and changelog.

What's the difference between a connector and a plugin?

On xAI's pages the words overlap. Connect apps lists plugins, and adding the Gmail plugin connects your Gmail (Grok Bot changelog). For an owner they mean the same thing: a link that lets your Bot use one of your apps.

Can I connect two Gmail or two Slack accounts?

Yes. xAI says you can connect more than one account per service (Grok Bot 101). Connected Google accounts show their email address, so you can tell them apart (Grok Bot changelog).

My app isn't on the list. What now?

Search Connect apps first, because new apps arrive often. If it's not there, a Bot can sign in to the website in its own browser, like you would (x.ai). Keep that job drafts-only, and remember that a login one Bot uses is open to your other Bots.

Which connector should a small business add first?

Usually email, because that's where customers and invoices arrive. Start with our Gmail guide, drafts only. The free Starter Kit has four copy-paste agent prompts, and the One-Person AI Business Pack ($29 one-time, plus local tax where it applies) adds a guardrail block with escalation rules and a 7-day install plan.
